DGDE Recruitment Age Limit
- For Junior Hindi Translator post candidates age must between 18 years to 30 years.
- To apply for Sub Divisional Officer and Hindi Typist post candidates age must between 18 years to 27 years.
- Age relaxation will be given as per government norms.
Ministry of Defence Eligibility Criteria
Junior Hindi Translator: Candidate should have completed Master’s Degree in Hindi or English or studies Hindi or English as compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level to apply. Candidate who completed Bachelor’s Degree and completed Diploma or certificate course in Translation form Hindi to English, vice versa can also apply.
Sub Divisional Officer: Applicant should completed Matriculation from recognized board and completed Diploma or Certificate course in Surveying or Draftsmanship (civil).
Hindi Typist: Candidate should completed Matriculation from recognized Board and need typing sped of 25 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting.

Ministry of Defence Selection Process
Candidates will get selected based on the merit list of marks obtained in the written exam. Written exam date will be announced on official website of DGDE soon.
DGDE Application Fee
- General candidates should have to pay Rs. 200 as application fee.
- Women, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and EWS candidates need not to pay application fee.
- Fee should be paid through Demand Draft mode in favor of ‘Principal Directorate Defence Estates Southern Command Pune’ payable at Union Bank of India, Headquarter Southern Command Branch, Pune-01.
