Selection Process in Delhi Police MTS Civilian:

After the Written Test(100 marks) and Trade Test(Qualifying nature), the final merit list for selection will be drawn for each category of posts on the basis of marks obtained in Written Test by candidates and who also qualify the trade test. The candidates upto the number of vacancies available shall be selected taking into consideration options/preference(s) exercised by the candidates while applying for the post. The order of options/preference(s) exercised by the candidates at the time of applying for the posts will not be allowed to change at any stage.
Where a cut-off has to be made in the merit list and dispute arises be Meen Mo or more candidates who have equal marks in the order of merit, the selection shall be made as per the date of birth. The older candidate shall be given preference and in case the date of birth is also the same, then the higher marks secured in the Trade Test would decide the merit. In case marks of written test and trade test are also same, then the alphabetical order in the first names of the candidates appears will decide the merit.
SC, ST, OBC candidates, who are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards, along with candidates belonging to other communities, will not be adjusted against the reserved share of vacancies. Such SC, ST, OBC candidates will be accommodated against the general/unreserved vacancies as per their position in the overall Merit List. The reserved vacancies will be filled up separately from amongst the eligible SCs, STs, 0BCs candidates which will thus comprise of SC, ST, OBC candidates who are lower in merit than the last general candidate on merit list of unreserved category but other wise found suitable for appointment even by relaxed standard.
The candidates so selected provisionally shall be medically examined by doctors in selected government hospitals in Delhi before appointment as per the prescribed standards.
The police verification of character & antecedents will be got conducted through the concerned District Magistrate/Collector of the States/UTs.
Cases of selected candidates against whom any criminal case is registered/pending investigation/pending trial in the court, will be kept pending till the finalization of the same and their suitability for appointment in Delhi Police will be decided on merit after finalization of cases by committee appointed by the Delhi Police.

The final result for the post of various trades of Multi-Tasking Staff (Civilian) in Delhi Police Examination-2017 has been declared on 28.02.2020 and uploaded on the website of Delhi Police i.e. www.delhipolice.nic.in. The candidates provisionally selected for the various trades of MTS (Civilian) are directed to report in Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Kingsway Camp, Delhi-110009 for completion of codal formalities i.e. filling up of Police Verification and Medical Examination Forms, as per schedule given below:-
