Delhi Airport Prepare to Welcome 5G – Passengers Can Experience 50 times Faster Internet!! 5G internet service will be launched across India from October 1. Meanwhile, Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport is currently gearing up for the implementation of this 5G mobile network.
Accordingly, from October, passengers with 5G enabled devices will be able to enjoy better signal strength, uninterrupted connectivity, faster data speeds at the domestic departure and international arrivals baggage and T3 arrivals, and multi-level car parking areas at Terminal 3, the administration announced. It is also reported that passengers will be able to enjoy 5G service at GMR Square which will provide easy access to Aerocity’s business hubs from public areas.

Regarding this, DIAL CEO Vide Kumar said, ‘Delhi Airport has always been a pioneer in bringing new technologies to passengers. We have built 5G infrastructure to enhance their experience at the airport. It provides fast internet speed and low latency. Under the announcement, passengers at Delhi Airport can now enjoy speeds 20 times better than Wi-Fi data connections and 50 times faster than mobile data networks.
