DDA Eligibility Criteria 2021:

Engineer Member:

Officers with a minimum of five years of regular service in the grade of Chief Engineer (Civil) or equivalent Level 14 (Rs. 1,44,200-Rs. 2,18,200/-) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories (including Autonomous Bodies of Public Sector Undertakings under them).

Director (Finance):

Officers belonging to Indian Costs Accounts Service/Indian Civil Accounts Service/Indian Audit and Accounts Service or other organized Accounts Service of Govt. of India holding analogous posts in Level 12 in Pay Matrix as per 7’h CPC. The tenure of deputation will be initially for a period of 0 years which is extendable up to 05 years on year to year basis (for 4th and 5th year) with the mutual consent of lending and borrowing departments.

Financial Advisor:

• “Officers under the Central Government/ State Govt. preferably officers belonging to recognized Accounts Services, e.g. Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service. Indian P&T Finance & Accounts Service, Indian Revenue Service holding analogous posts or with 5 year service in PB- 3, Rs 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs 6600/- or equivalent and:
• Having prior expertise with financial management, budgeting and accounting, scheme and expenditure proposal approval, and financial matters. (In most cases, the length of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post sector directly preceding this appointment in the same department, does not exceed three years.)
• The deputation will be for a term of three years, with the option to extend it up to five years on a year-to-year basis (for the fourth and fifth years) with the mutual permission of the lending and borrowing departments.

DDA Salary Details 2021:

• Director (Finance) & Financial Advisor: The pay and allowances, as well as other deputation conditions, of officers selected for deputation, shall be governed by the Department of Personnel & Training’s OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-11) dated 17.06.2010 and OM No.2/6/2016-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.02.2016, as amended from time to time.
• Engineer Member salaries range from Rs 1, 44,200 to Rs 2, 18,200. Candidates can refer to the official notification for further allowances and details.
