  1. Venkaiah Naidu presented the Musical Drama Academy Fellowship and Musical Drama Awards for the year 2018:

Held in New Delhi, the Vice President of the Republic of India, M.Sc. Presented by Venkaiah Naidu.

The Academy of Musical Drama Fellowships were awarded to four artists, and the Academy of Musical Drama Awards were presented to 40 people. The Lalit Kala Academy Awards were presented to 23 personalities, including three.   1. The 57th CRPF Heroes’ Day is observed on April 9, 2022:

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Valor Day (Solar Divas) is observed every year on April 9 as a tribute to the brave soldiers of the force. 2022 marks the 57th CRPF Heroism Day.

  1. Nissan has teamed up with NASA to launch new batteries for future electric vehicles

IT company Infosys and leading industrial technology company Rolls-Royce have opened a “Space Engineering and Digital Innovation Center” in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Purpose:

The Center was established to provide state-of-the-art R&D services with advanced digital capabilities for Rolls-Royce’s engineering and team business services from India.

  1. The first Hindi novel to be nominated for an International Booker Prize is ‘Tomb of Sand’:

In the history of the International Booker Prize, the novel ‘Tomb of Sand’ by Gitanjali Sri is the first Hindi language fiction work to be nominated for the prestigious Literary Prize.

The novel has been translated into English by Daisy Rockwell. The Tomb of Sand book is in competition with five other novels from around the world.

Purpose:

In northern India, an eighty-year-old woman slips into deep depression after her husband’s death and then reappears to find a new life.

  1. Rhea Jadon wins 11th DGC Ladies Open Amateur Golf Championship:

Thirteen-year-old Rhea Jadon won the DGC Ladies Open Amateur Golf Championship. Rhea, who took 78, 80 and 74 cards, also won the Junior Women’s Trophy. More than a hundred women golfers took part in this year’s tournament, which resumed at the Delhi Golf Club after a gap of two years.

  1. Former CAG Vinod Roy has written a book entitled ‘Not Just a Nightwatchman: My Innings with the BCCI’:

10 .The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has set up the AVGC Promotion Working Group:

Te Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC) Advertising Task Force has been established by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The I&B Secretary-led task force will develop its first action plan within 90 days.

Purpose: Industry, academics and state governments are all represented.
