The Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) Survey has commenced on January 10 for Delhi-Varanasi High-Speed Rail (DVHSR) Corridor from Greater Noida.

  • National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited is adopting Light Detection and Ranging Survey (LiDAR) technology.
  • It provides all the ground details and data in 3-4 months wherein this process normally takes 10-12 months.

Union Health Ministry set a panel to examine the adverse findings from the NHFS-5

The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has set up a technical expert group chaired by Joint Secretary Preeti Pant to examine the adverse findings from the National Family Health Survey (NHFS)-5.

  • The Panel aims to recommend programmatic and policy interventions to improve” indicators pertaining to malnutrition, stunting, anaemia, and C-section.
  • The expert group also includes State programme officers from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka.

Japan provides Rs 2,113 crores support for COVID19 relief efforts

The Japan has committed Official Development Assistance loan of 30 billion Japanese Yen which is approximately Rs 2113 crore rupees.
