As per the notification of the central government, the dearness allowance of Delhi government employees has been increased to 4%. Following this, the government has announced a 4% increase in dearness allowance for government employees and pensioners in the state of Rajasthan. The notification will come into effect from July 1. Similarly, with effect from July 1, the Government of Uttar Pradesh increased the amount of Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for state government employees and pensioners by 38%.

Apart from this, the state government has also decided to give a bonus of Rs.6,908 to each employee as a Diwali gift. The Haryana government has also announced a 4 percent hike in DA. With this, the total pay of state government employees has increased to 38 percent. A hike of 3% has been announced for 3.5 lakh pensioners and 4 lakh employees in Odisha. The hike will be effective from January 1, 2022. The Government of Chhattisgarh has also increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees by 5%. The Haryana government has announced a 4 percent hike in DA and DR for its employees and pensioners.
