- The International Day for the Universal Access to Information (commonly called the Access to Information Day) is an international day of recognition designated by the UNESCO General Conference to be held on September 28.
- Theme – “The Asian Digital Revolution: Transforming the Digital Divide into a Dividend through Universal Access”.
September 28 – World Rabies Day
- It is celebrated annually to raise awareness about rabies prevention. 28 September also marks the anniversary of Louis Pasteur’s death, the French chemist and microbiologist, who developed the first rabies vaccine.
- Theme – ‘Rabies: Share the message. Save a life’.
