CSIR Age Limit
Candidate’s age should not exceed the maximum age limit of 28 years to apply for this recruitment. Age relaxation on upper age limit for 5 years will be given for SC/ ST candidates. Age relaxation for 3 years given to OBC candidates. Age relaxation for up to 10 years given to PWBD candidates and 13 years for PWBD SC/ ST candidates.
CSIR Eligibility Criteria
Technical Assistant: Candidate should have completed B.Sc., in Microbiology or Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry or Biochemistry or Bio-technology or MLT or Chemical Sciences or Diploma in Biochemical Engineering or Instrumentation engineering to apply for this recruitment. Candidates, who completed B.SC., should minimum 1 years of work experience in related field. Candidate who completed diploma should have 2 years of work experience in related field.
Junior Engineer: Candidate should have completed 3 years full time Diploma Course or 2 years lateral admission full time diploma course in Electrical Engineering. Applicant should secure 1st class in their graduation. Applicant should have minimum 2 years of work experience in related field.
Technician: Candidate should have completed SSCor 10th Standard with Science subjects. Candidate should Completed ITI with minimum 55% of marks or Applicant should have national or state tradecertificate. Candidate should have minimum 2 years of work experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution to apply for this recruitment. Candidate who have 1 year of work experience in related field will be preferred.
Electrician: Candidate should have completed SSC or 10th Standard with Science subjects. Candidate should Completed ITI with minimum 55% of marks in Electrician Trade. Candidate who have minimum 1 year of work experience as electrician will be preferred. Candidates are responsible for Repair and maintenance of electrical installation and its accessories.
Fitter: Candidate should have completed SSC or 10th Standard with Science subjects. Candidate should Completed ITI with minimum 55% of marks in Fitter Trade. Candidate who have minimum 1 year of work experience as apprentice in Fitter Trade will be preferred. Applicant is responsible for repairing and maintenance of the various installations through different welding techniques.

CSIR Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on Paper I, Paper II and Paper III written examination. Based on Paper I candidates will be shortlisted for Paper II and Paper III. Based on the merit list of the Paper II and Paper III candidate will be selected for the post. The admi card for the written examination will be released soon.
CSIR Application Fee
