CSIR Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have completed Ph.D in Natural Sciences or Master’s Degree in Engineering/Health/Medical Sciences (for Engineering/Health/Medical Sciences, Ph.D. is desirable).
- Applicants also having At least 16 years of experience in Research and Development (with focus of translational research) in the areas of activities of the laboratory/Institutes/Centre and demonstrated excellence in leadership therein.
CSIR Recruitment 2022 Age Limit:
Candidates do not exceeding Maximum 45 years or above but not exceeding 56 years. The qualifications, age and experience can be relaxed in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates with the approval of DG, CSIR.

The appointment to the post of Director will be made for a tenure of six years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier, in level 15 of Pay Matrix (Rs.1,82,200 2,24 100) (pre-revised HAG pay scale of Rs 67.000-79,000) with allowances as admissible.
