The candidates should have completed their MBBS Degree from a recognized University or A post graduate (PG) Medical Degree or PG Medical Diploma in the specified specialty from a recognized University.

The selected candidates will be paid salary for the post of Chief Medical Officer is Rs. 100000-260000 from a respective board.

The selection is by merit for which the bench mark in overall grading in the Annual Confidential Reports shall not be below “Very Good”.

- The Eligible and willing Officers who satisfy the provisions of Recruitment Rule for the post of Chief Medical Officer shall apply through the “Online Application Portal (OAP)’ of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in/. The applicant has to register in the Online Application Portal. No application other than OAP shall be accepted.
- The candidate shall submit the print out of online application submitted via OAP and the Administrative Ports are requested to forward the application through proper channel along with the following documents in an envelope, superscribing ‘Application for the post of Chief Medical Officer in Cochin Port Authority on absorption basis’, to the Secretary, Cochin Port Authority, Willingdon lsland, Cochin-682 009 so as to reach on or before 04.07.2022.
