Rs. 3000 for Every Ration Card Holder – CM Announced– Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangaswamy announced to give Rs. 3000 for every ration card holder is corona relief fund. LieutenantGovernorTamilisai Soundararajan approved that scheme. The distribution date will be informed soon. Lots of poor and daily wages workers going to get benefit in this scheme.
Due to second wave of Covid-19 on one day totally 1,237 people were infected in Pondicherry. And 26 people were died due to corona virus in last 24 hours. The corona infections rate is increasing constantly in Puducherry. Around 14,120 people suffering from corona getting treatment at hospital in Puducherry. The death toll so far has reached 990.
Puducherry government taking several steps as corona prevention measure from the beginning of this month. But the number of infections doesn’t decrease well. Because of that Puducherry government-imposed Lockdown from May 20 to discontinue to spread of corona virus. But most of the people started to get affected by poverty.

So, Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangaswamydecided to provide corona relief for Rs. 3000, Deputy Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has endorsed the Chief Minister’s decision. This corona relief fund will be available for every ration card holder. The distribution date for corona relieving fund will be informed by Puducherry Chief Minister soon.
