WFH Ended: Cognizant Employees returning Offices by April 18 – See Company’s Future plan from here!!! Covid-19 pandemic situation is almost over now. Several IT companies, including TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and others, have announced their plans to reopen offices because of corona virus infection rate drop across the country. While Tata Consultancy Services has implemented a remote working module named Hybrid mode, which requires workers to work from home and visit office only if required.

Cognizant announced that they would provide extra assistance to its employees upon their return to the office in the following weeks. Initially Cognizant has asked its employees to return to offices on a voluntary basis in the beginning of April 18. Cognizant also announced to adopt Hybrid mode later their year.

Earlier Cognizant CEO Brian Humphrie said that, “Given the uncertain path of the Omicron variant and the ebb and flow of outbreaks of new COVID cases globally, we will begin to return to the office in April 2022. Until then, travel and office-based work will remain restricted”.

Is the end of the March, Cognizant issued a circular to their employees. The circular stated that, “Over the past several weeks, we have seen governments around the world ease Covid-19 restrictions, which we hope signals that the end of the pandemic is in sight. In line with these changes, and based on business demand, we will no longer require social distancing in cognizant facilities, unless required by local regulations or at the discretion of country managers”.
