The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has issued a recruitment notice for three positions are General Manager, DGM, and Manager (Signaling and Telecom). The deadline to submit an application is 03.01.2022. Candidates who have not yet applied should do so before the deadline. As per the notification, Candidates need not be older than 45 years old and no older than 55 years old as by November 19, 2021. (Age will be relaxed for deserving candidates). Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or a combination of these disciplines from an AICTE / UGC approved government recognised institute / university for general manager.
Deputy General Manager & Manager – Candidates must have passed the JAG grade with a minimum of 6 years in Group-A / 10 years in Group-B experience and should be in the Assistant Officer / Senior Supervisor grade with a minimum of 7 years in Group-B or minimum of 10 years in Group-C as SSE / SE experience.

The deputations entitled to the same remuneration as the parent organization’s employees. Furthermore, a deputation allowance and a project allowance of 10% of Basic Pay will be paid. Deputation will be used to make the final decision. The first period of deputation will be for three years, with the option to extend it up to five years.
