The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has been released the last date extended notice for the recruitment against Advt NO. CMRL/HR/DEP/15/2021. The deadline to apply for the position of General Manager & DGM / Manager (Signaling & Telecom) has been extended until 03.02.2022. There are 3 vacancies allotted for this recruitment. As per the notification, Candidates should have a minimum age limit 45 years to maximum 55 years as by November 19, 2021. (Age will be relaxed for deserving candidates). Candidates must have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or a combination of these disciplines from an AICTE / UGC approved government recognised institute / university for general manager.
Deputy General Manager & Manager – Candidates must have passed the JAG grade with a minimum of 6 years in Group-A / 10 years in Group-B experience and should be in the Assistant Officer / Senior Supervisor grade with a minimum of 7 years in Group-B or minimum of 10 years in Group-C as SSE / SE experience. The deputationist is entitled to the same remuneration as the parent organization’s employees. Furthermore, a deputation allowance and a project allowance of 10% of Basic Pay will be paid.

Option to draw a CMRL comparable cadre IDA pay scale with IDA, HRA, and cafeteria allowances totaling 20% of basic salary. Deputation will be used to make the final decision. The first period of deputation will be for three years, with the option to extend it up to five years.
