Classes for First-Year MBBS Students Begin – Check Info Here!!! Madurai Medical College (MMC) professors and senior students welcomed the new class of first-year students on Tuesday. For 226 students, an orientation programme was held.
Vice-Principal V. Dhanalakshmi stated that 24 students had yet to enroll. “The white coat ceremony, which administers the Hippocratic Oath, will be held soon,” she said. “The freshers were greeted with chocolates, flowers, and greeting cards,” S. Prem Sekar, president of Student’s Council, said.
Students were encouraged to stay focused, serve others, and maintain discipline. “They were briefed on a variety of topics, including the fact that the MMC is a ragging-free campus and that they can approach professors and wardens with any questions,” Ms. Dhanalakshmi said. Parents who accompanied their children discussed why they chose the MMC. Professors also informed students about the various extracurricular activities available to them.
