7 Districts Announced Tomorrow as Holiday for Schools & Colleges!!! Get the Latest Update Here!! It has been raining in many districts amid Cyclone Mandos approaching Tamil Nadu. Especially, Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Vellore, and Cuddalore districts have been experiencing heavy rain for the last 2 days.
Due to this heavy rain, schools and colleges in about 8 districts have been given a holiday today December 9. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted that Cyclone Mandos will cross the coast near Mamallapuram today at midnight. Therefore, it has been said that there are chances of heavy rain in some districts including Chennai.
MHRD NATS Announces FCI Notification 2022
In this context, it has been announced that the educational institutions including schools and colleges in the Chennai district will be given a holiday on 10th December tomorrow. Similarly, schools and colleges in the Vellore, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Ranipet, Cuddalore, and Villupuram districts have been given a holiday tomorrow as a precaution against heavy rains.
