This Railway’s productivity-linked bonus equal to 78 day’s pay covers all non-gazetted railway employees (excluding RPF/RPSF employees). PLB payments to Yilway employees are usually made before the Dussehra Puja holiday every year. According to reports, this bonus amount may be available before the Dussehra festival this year as well. Now, Railway employees have estimated at Rs.1984.73 crore by PLB attached with 78 days.

Accordingly, the pay calculation ceiling fixed for payment of PLB to eligible non-gazetted railway employees is Rs.7000. Similarly, the maximum amount payable to an eligible railway employee will be Rs.17,951.
