Government Likely to Announce SoP for Work From Home Employees – Know the Latest Details!!! During the Covid pandemic period in India, the work-from-home system was introduced to office workers. And this work mode is still being followed even today. Meanwhile, this work-from-home system gives flexibility to the employees. So that, the employees didn’t want to move from WFH.
Meanwhile, the special economic zones announced for work-from-home employees by the central government. There are some reports said that, the central government is likely to implement the SoP for the WFH employees. According to the new rule, the government will allow 50% employees including contract workers and companies operating in Special Economic Zones (SEZ) to extend the WFH option for a maximum of one year.

Also, Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) for WFH employees are expected to be released within this week. Now, it seems that the issues of extending the WFH system and its flexibility will be clarified in the SoP. For this, the Commerce Department has amended Rule 43A – Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006. This new rule restricts the WFH scheme to only 50% of the employees, should be mentioned.
