The Government of India has announced additional benefits for workers affiliated to the EPF, ESI scheme in view of the Corona epidemic environment. The Central Ministry of Labor has released a detailed report on benefits for workers. According to this, workers in the ESI scheme will be given a pension if they die of the corona. The Center has announced additional incentives for workers joining the EPF and ESI scheme in view of the Corona epidemic. The Federal Ministry of Labor has released a comprehensive report on benefits for workers.
“A statement from the Federal Ministry of Labor said that workers in the ESI scheme would be entitled to a pension if they died of corona.”
The Ministry of Labor also said that if workers in the EPF scheme die of the corona, the benefit of the insurance scheme linked to their deposit will be increased from Rs. 6 lakhs to Rs. 7 lakhs. The ministry also said that EPF and ESI workers would not be charged any extra for these benefits.
