CCTV Camera, Alert Sensor Are Must In School Vehicles- Government Ordered. TamilNadu state government ordered the schools across the nook and corners of the state to fix equipments like, CCTV camera, and Alert Sensor in the school vehicles. The government announced that, it is compulsory to follow this rule of fixing that kind of above mentioned instruments in the school vehicles as a safety purpose.
Chief Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu Panindra Reddy has ordered the installation of CCTV cameras in school vehicles operating in Tamil Nadu. It has been suggested that a CCTV camera must be fitted to the front and rear of each school vehicle and a rear alarm sensor must be fitted. The school administration picks up students on private buses and takes them back home. The quality of these vehicles is regularly inspected by district education officers and motor vehicle inspectors.
