The Responsible Al for Youth program was initiated in 2020 by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, in collaboration with Intel India and with support from the Department of School Education and Literacy.
The Responsible AI for Youth Program 2022 was introduced on July 30, 2022, with the purpose of achieving the more general goal of preparing the next generation for AI. In order to build on this success, the 2022 version of the initiative, known as YUVAi or Youth for Unnati and Vikas with AI (https://innovateindia.mygov.in/yuvai/), wants to expand its participation to 1 million kids from eighth to twelfth grade across the nation.
