CBSE, CISCE Term 2 Exam Cancelled?? Check Students Demand and Rules Here. Will the CBSE and CISCE boards’ term two exams be cancelled if the number of covid-19 cases rises? A group of students and professors are calling for the examinations to be cancelled due to the rising number of cases of the coronavirus. Are these requests still valid with less than a week to go until the examinations begin on April 26?

According to the guidelines, if there are a large number of coronavirus illnesses, the board’s second term exams may be postponed or even cancelled. When the CBSE declared that two tests will be held, the Board stated in its official notice that if there is another wave of the covid-19 epidemic, the final result would be computed using term 1 data exams, and internal assessment.

This would not be the first time this has happened. Due to the epidemic, the board was unable to organise any exams in 2021. Because with the first wave of the covid-19 epidemic in 2020, the tests had to be stopped in the middle. CBSE opted to go with not one, but two exams for the 2022 batch amid massive disruptions in its examination and assessment system.

Even if the situation in Covid-19 is not dire right now, many students and academics want the term 2 exams to be cancelled. They want not just term 2 to be eliminated, but also a large portion of the final grade to be handed to internal evaluation.

From the start of the new academic year forward, CBSE had requested schools to collect data. For all tests completed throughout the year, schools were asked to build a student profile. Three periodic assessments, student enrichment, portfolio, and practical work, as well as speaking and listening activities, were scheduled for class 10. Internal assessment in class 12 would consist of unit assessments at the end of each course, exploratory exercises, practicals, and projects. While the CBSE has yet to provide the exact weighting, according to official sources, the term 1, term 2, and internal assessment will be combined to produce results.
