Stay Order Extended for Teacher Recruitment! High Court Decision on Vocational & Physical Education Staff Hiring!! The Calcutta High Court yesterday issued new orders extending the ban on the appointment of teachers. That means, there was an interim stay on the appointment of teachers in Vocational and Physical Education posts in government schools through the State Level Selection Test (SLST) till December 1.
The Calcutta High Court has ordered that the ban will be extended till December 21. Earlier, a case was held in the Calcutta High Court regarding the appointment of a vocational teacher. In this case, it was reported that if schools in various cities have less students, teachers have been told to join rural schools or else they may lose their jobs.

After the hearing, the High Court announced that the interim ban imposed on the recruitment of 750 Vocational teachers and 850 physical education teachers in supernumerary posts will be extended till December 21.
