BSE Odisha to Conduct Special Board Exams for 10th students in Offline Mode

BSE Odisha to Conduct Special Board Exams for 10th students in Offline Mode from July 30: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) announced the dates for the special board examination for students in class X, which will begin on July 30 and will be conducted in an offline mode. Students who are dissatisfied with their scores from an alternative board assessment scheme may take the tests.

The offline exams will start on July 30 and will last until August 5. According to the board’s release, interested candidates can fill out the exam registration forms online between July 5 and July 14. The BSE has announced that students will not be charged any money to take the exams.

Following the cancellation of the 2021 class X board test due to a spike of covid-19 instances, the board evaluated pupils using an alternate evaluation scheme, with over 97.89 percent of students passing. Despite a state-wide controversy, kids and parents accused the system of being unfair and defective, despite a record proportion of results.

Following student and parent objections, the board explained that there is no contradiction in the evaluation system because pupils earned scores based on a moderation scheme determined by a team of experts comprised of educators and academics.
