BRO GREF Selection Process:
The candidates will through the Process of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Practical Test (where applicable), Written Test as mentioned – Primary Medical Examination (PME).
BRO GREF Written Exam Pattern:
- The Written Exam Question paper will be answered in blue/black ball point pen only.
- The questions will have objective type or subjective type or objective and subjective both as per syllabus
- The question paper will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi
- The Timing for the Examination may vary from 1hrs to 3hrs depending upon the trade.
- The objective type Questions will be OMR based and subjective questions have to be answered in the answer sheet.
- Minimum passing marks for UR, EWS & OBC category is 50% and for SC & ST category is 40%.

Practical Test/Skill Test:
Trade test is conducted at GREF Centre or any other centre, minimum 40% marks are required to qualify and is applicable for following posts only:
Hindi Typist:
Typing test @ 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer (passing criteria)
Operator (Communication):

Electrician:

Multi Skilled Worker (Black Smith):

(b) Application of gauge & measuring instrument
(c) Preparation of dice
(d) Preparation of different shapes from available material
(e) Safety precaution
Multi Skilled Worker (Cook):
(a) Chopping/cutting of vegetables
(b) Identification of spices
(c) Cleaning of Utensils
(d) Knowledge of cleanliness of working place
(e) Finishing/garnishing/decoration/beautification/flavoring of food
