British Prime Minister announced 11K jobs for Indian in United Kingdom: Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, is in India on a two-day Visit since being elected. During this visit, British Prime Minister announced a £1 billion deal that will create up to 11,000 jobs for Indians across the UK.

“Today, UK and Indian businesses will confirm the £1 billion in new investments and export deals in industries ranging from software Engineering to Health, creating around 11,000 jobs throughout the UK,” according to a statement from the UK High Commission.

Boris Johnson said that, “As I arrive in India today, I see vast possibilities for what our two great nations can achieve together. From next-generation 5G telecoms and AI to new partnerships in health research and renewable energy – the UK and India are leading the world.”
He also said that, “Our powerhouse partnership is delivering jobs; growth and opportunities for our people, and it will only go from strength-to-strength in the coming years,”. Companies such as Switch Mobility, Mastek, Tech Mahindra, Mphasis, Prodapt, Jupiter LifeLine Hospitals Ltd, TVS Motors and various other signed in the deal.
