Board Exams Classes 10, 12 to Be Held In Offline Mode Announced By Maharashtra Government: Maharashtra State minister Varsha Gaikwad declared on March 20 that the Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will conduct the HSC (Class 12) and SSC (Class 10) exams in an offline mode beginning next month. According to the School Education Minister, students would have to physically go to the testing centres to take the board exams.

“The students’ schools will function as examination centres. They will have an extra half-hour to attempt the questions in addition to the three-hour exam duration “Ms. Gaikwad explained. Ms Gaikwad added that the exam dates have already been announced and that practical exams will be conducted once the written tests are completed.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared last month that the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam would be held between April 23 and May 21, and the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam will be held between April 29 and May 20. These board exams are normally conducted in February and March, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates have been changed this year.
