B.E., Computer Science Admission Rising Rapidly Compared to Other Disciplines in Tamil Nadu.In this year’s engineering general section consultation, it has been reported that students are expressing a lot of interest in enrolling in the computer science course. 55 percent of the students that took part in the general engineering consultation chose to choose computer science, IT, ECE, or EEE classes.
Engineering course general category counselling began on October 10 and is already complete. 14,546 pupils in all had passed the general category preliminary exams. 11,595 of those students have received seat assignments, and 12,294 have chosen the universities on their list of top choices.
11,626 students have verified their allotment order in this. As a result, 5,233 individuals have received orders to enrol at the college. More than 55% of these 5,233 pupils have expressed interest in computer science.
334 kids are eligible for the 7.5 percent reserve for students attending government schools. 185 of the students are taking engineering courses. Given that more than 40.000 students will engage in the second round of counselling, it is thought to be significant.
