The Indian cricket team will play a five-match T20 series against South Africa from June 9 to 19. The South African team has come to India for this. A long series has been arranged to settle the old account with the England team after the series is over. The Indian cricket team has been dreaming of winning the Test series on English soil. Fifteen years after capturing a Test series here, the Indian team would have ended this wait last year.
Former captain Virat Kohli captained the Indian team for the Test series on English soil. The Indian team led by him drew the match at Trent Bridge Nottingham. India won the 2nd Test by 151 runs. However, England won the 3rd Test by an innings and 76 runs. India then won the match by 157 runs at Kennington Oval in London. With the last Test match blocked by Corona, India are leading the series 2-1. So the rest of that one Test match takes place on July 1st. It is accompanied by 3 ODIs and 3 T20I series. The BCCI’s consultative meeting has been hotly debated in cricket circles in the wake of former players’ demand that the IPL be held twice a year.
