• Applies scientific principles and insights in computational biology into various discovery projects that aims to develop new generation of genotyping technologies.
• Critically analyzes and evaluates experimental data related to various genomics experiments.
• Collaborates into Precision Genomics projects that interface application of NGS data in precision breeding
• Develops and maintains up-to-date relevant computational knowledge related to the discovery and application of molecular markers.
• Ensures compliance with all safety and quality systems standards, and traceability through quality management

Bayer Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

• PhD or MS with 6 years of experience in related field.
• Excellent knowledge and practical experience in handling NGS data processing and Quantitative Genetics analytical software
• Demonstrable proficiency in R, Python, Perl and Shell  scripting in the context of large genomic data analysis
• Familiarity with wet lab genotyping technologies
• Project management skills: Self-organized and solution orientated
• Works accurately, creatively: evaluates alternative approaches and can manage and reduce complexity.
• Constructive and supportive teamwork attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Presentation and training: can present results/ideas to audiences
• English spoken, read and written with advanced scientific level
