Bassein Catholic Bank Recruitment 2021 Eligibility criteria

For General Manager (Portfolio 1) Post:

  • Candidate should be graduate in any faculty. MBA in Finance or equivalent degree / CA / ICWA / CFA is mandatory.
  • Candidate with LLB / LLM / CAIIB / JAIIB will be added advantage.
  • He / She should be upto 50 years of age with minimum 20 years’ relevant experience.
  • He / She will be handling a portfolio of Credit, Credit Monitoring, Legal &  Recovery.
  • He / She should have minimum 5 years’ operational level experience as DGM/AGM in Credit, Legal & Recovery function in Commercial Bank or Scheduled Co-operative Bank with turnover of not less than Rs.5000 Crores.

For General Manager (Portfolio 2) Post: 

  • Candidate should be Graduate / Post Graduate in any faculty.
  • Candidate with CA / ICWA / CFA / CAIIB / JAIIB will be added advantage.
  • He / She should be upto 50 years of age with minimum 20 years’ relevant experience.
  • He / She will be handling a portfolio of Business Development, Treasury, HR, Administration, Board Secretary, Audit & Compliance.
  • He / She should have minimum 5 years’ operational level experience as DGM/AGM in overseeing Banking Operations in Commercial Bank or Scheduled Co-operative Bank with turnover of not less than Rs.5000
    Crores.

For Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Post: 

  • Candidate should be Chartered Accountant
  • He / She should be upto 50 years of age with 20 years of relevant work experience out of which minimum 10 years in supervisory role.
  • He / She will be responsible for accurate and timely presentation and reporting of financial information of the Bank.
  • He / She will be responsible for establishing and implementing accounting policies and procedures wherever required.
  • He / She will be responsible for complying with a) Financial Regulations and Standards wherever applicable b) Statutory / Regulatory / Internal Audits & Inspections.
  • He / She will be responsible for communicating the Bank’s expected and actual financial performance.
  • He / She will be responsible for overseeing the budget, collection of inputs and comparing the Bank’s actual performance vis-à-vis the budget estimates.
  • He / She will be responsible for flagging risks to the finances – operational, markets, etc and developing strategies to counter / mitigate the same

For Deputy General Manager – Legal & Recovery Post: 

  • Graduate in any faculty with LLB / LLM. CAIIB will be added advantage.
  • He / She should be above 45 years of age with minimum 15 years’ relevant experience.
  • He/ She should be conversant with the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, RBI Act 1934 & its Circulars, Rules & Regulations, The MCS Act 1960, its Rules  1961, SARFAESI Act 2002, and other acts applicable to Cooperative Sector.
  • He / She will represent the Statutory Offices / RBI/ RCS, Pune on behalf of the Bank as per the instructions of the Board Members.
  • He / She will give independent Legal Opinions to the Board Members/ Management of the Bank as and when required in all areas.
  • He / She should have knowledge and hands on experience of working on recovery proceedings under SARFASEI Act 2002 and proceedings of Section 101 of MCS Act 1960 & its execution of recovery certificate.
  • He / She should have experience of managing litigations & recovery for Co-operative Banks.
  • He / She should have experience in mortgages/title of the property/creation of charge etc. and its relevant circulars & amendment from time to time.
  • He / She will be responsible for attending Board Meetings / Committee Meetings / Board queries & presenting and preparing annual plan for recovery and appraise the Board Members regarding legal status of pending status of the Litigations.
  • He / She will be responsible for mentoring the Legal Department & Recovery Departments.

For Chief Manager / Assistant General Manager – HR: 

  • Candidate should be Graduate in any faculty with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations / HR/ HRD / HRM/ Labour Law with 15 – 20 years of relevant HR experience (as per the post applicable). Candidate should presently be holding supervisory position.
  • Candidate having experience in the field of HR in Scheduled Commercial Banks / PSUs / Central or State Govt. Departments/ listed Corporate Entity with staff strength of over 1000 will be preferred.
  • He / She should be up to 50 years of age.
