According to the announcement, the board is seeing an increase in the number of paediatric patients who need major surgeries in a variety of specialties, including general surgery, urology, laparoscopic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, and oncosurgery, necessitating the addition of a panel anaesthetist with experience in acute and chronic paediatric pain management, as well as regional anaesthesia.

Candidates should have completed in MD/ DNB (Anaesthesia) from a recognised university is required of candidates. Neonatal and paediatric anaesthesia is an additional qualification/fellowship. At least 3 years of experience in ultrasonography and/or PNS guided Paediatric Regional Anaesthesia. Publications in the fields of anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia are preferred. Anaesthetists with substantial teaching expertise and experience in regional anaesthesia will be given priority. The shortlisted candidates shall get the charges for the visiting.
