Banks will be closed for a Full Week from Today; RBI Dates & Holidays Here!! This month has more number of holidays comparing to other month, so bank also shut down for a week from today 03.10.2022. Dates and holidays below by Reserve Bank of India.

Banks will be closed for seven days straight starting today. Before leaving, check the RBI holiday schedule. Customers should be aware that a bank holiday observed in one state might not be observed in another. Additionally, regular internet services will be accessible. If you need to visit your local branch for bank business, you should first review the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) list of bank holidays for October. This is due to the fact that specific branches in certain cities will remain closed for the next week starting on Monday. Customers should be aware that while there may be a bank holiday in one state but not in another, internet services will continue to operate as usual.

Branches won’t be accessible on:

Monday, October 3: Durga Puja (MahaAshtami) (Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Imphal, Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi)

Tuesday, October 4, is Durga Puja, Dussehra (MahaNavami), and AyudhaPooja (Agartala, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gangtok, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shillong, and Trivandrum)

Wednesday, October 5, is Durga Puja, VijayaDashmi’sDussehra, and SrimantaSankardeva’sJanmotsav (except Imphal)

Thursday, October 6: Durga Puja (Dasain) (Gangtok)

Friday, October 7: Durga Puja (Dasain) (Gangtok)

Second Saturday; Milad-i-Sherif/Eid-i-Milad-ul-Nabi on October 8 (Saturday) (Bhopal, Jammu, Kochi, Srinagar, Trivandrum)
