Apprentice Eligibility Criteria in BLW
BLW Apprentice Age Limit
- For non ITI post, candidate’s age should between 15 years to 22 years.
- For ITI post, candidate’s age should between 15 years to 24 years (expert Welder and Carpenter). For Welder and Carpenter upper age limit is 22 years.
- Age should be calculated as on 26.04.2022.
- Age relaxation will be given as per government norm.
Educational Qualification
Non ITI: The Candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks.
ITI: The Candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks. Candidate must have passed ITI in relevant trade.
Indian Railway Apprentice Selection Process
Apprentice in BLW will get selected based on the merit list of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
BLW Apprentice Salary
Selected candidates as Apprentice in BLW will receive Stipend as per Railway Board’s/ Labour Ministry instructions issued from time to time.
