The results of the semester exams taken by Anna University students in February and March of this year have been suspended. Another 30,000 students are said to be involved in the Mal Practise.
Due to Corona Pandemic curfew, the educational institutions were closed As a result; the lessons were delivered online, with the student’s future in mind. Lessons were also delivered online to Anna University students. Student’s semester exams, which were scheduled for December of last year, were held online in February and March of this year. As a result, second, third, and fourth year engineering students took these exams.
The Final Results of these exams were declared on the website on April 11. In that Result Many Students were referred as WH (With Held), WH1 (With Held1), WH6 and WHRX. (i.e) WH- has been informed that the results of the examination have been withheld without mentioning the pass or fail for the mentioned students. Accordingly, if WH1 means the students involved in Malpractice, WH6 means Abusive and WHRX means Re-Selection.
Because of the spread of corona, the exams for university students were held online, according to Anna University officials. There were 15 questions worth 2 points each and 30 questions worth 1 point each, for a total of 60 points. Students who do not follow the guidelines provided in these exams are considered to have committed exam irregularities.
As a result, the examination results of approximately 1 lakh students have been suspended. The engineering students commented on the incident, saying, ‘Many students wrote the semester exams by cell phone. Many households lack a separate room for taking exams. As a result, there could have been some hiccups. It is not acceptable to regard it as inappropriate.
