Candidates must have completed H.S.L.C or equivalent from Govt. recognized Board or Council with Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after publication of the final select list.

Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:
Applicants do not exceed the Minimum Age Limit of 18 Years to Maximum Age Limit of 30 Years as on 01.07.2022.
Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for
- 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
- 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
- Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called for PST & PET.
- The candidates will have to appear in PST & PET at the venue (s) as decided by SLPRB. The Chairman reserves the right to change the venue of the test and no representation etc. will be entertained in this regard.

Pay Scale for the post is Rs. 14,000-49,000 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs.5000/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
