A day ahead of Diwali, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma has announced a 4 percent hike in Additional Allowance (DA) for all state government employees and All India Service officers. It has been informed that this DA hike will be effective from July 1 and the amount will be paid with October 2022 pay.

In a tweet released in this regard, the CM said, I am pleased to announce an additional 4% dearness allowance to all State Government Servants and All India Service Officers. It was mentioned that this DA hike increase the festive spirit of the employees. This announcement has caused happiness among the state government employees.
