STO 2021 Minimum Qualifying Marks:

Category	ARS STO Minimum Qualifying Marks
UR	75.0 (50%)
OBC	67.5 (45%)
SC/ST/ PwBD	60.0 (40%)

The candidates who obtain following minimum qualifying marks in the online (CBT) examination shall be called for interview in the ratio of 1:5 for each post of STO (T-6). However, the Board reserves the right to fix/ revise the qualifying marks and ratio in any or all disciplines at its discretion.

ASRB STO Exam Pattern 2021:

The examination for STO (T-6) shall have one paper of 150 marks with all multiple choice objective questions to be attempted in 2 hours (Two hours), from the respective disciplines opted by the candidate. The Examination will be conducted in Online format at the designated Centres. The questions of the Examination will be available in bilingual form i.e. Hindi and English medium. The answers are to be indicated on the Computer itself during the Examination.

Note: 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the examination (Objective Type). There will be no rounding off of fractions of marks.

Interview for STO (T-6):- The candidates will be interviewed by a Board of competent and unbiased experts in the respective disciplines, who will have before them a record of his/her career. The object of the interview is to assess his/her suitability for the post for which he/she has competed. The interview is intended to supplement the written examination for testing the general and specialized knowledge and abilities of the candidate. The candidate will be expected to have taken an intelligent interest not only in his/her own state or country, but also in modern current of thought and in new discoveries, which should rouse the curiosity of well-educated youth.
