Definite article: THE
It is used to point out a particular object or thing.
Eg: Light the lamp.
He is the boy we are looking for.
Indefinite article: A, AN
This type of article comes only before a singular noun.
The article A can be used in before of any singular noun but should not be in before the noun which has the vowel [a, e, i, o, u] sound pronunciation.
The article An comes before the noun which has the vowel [a, e, i, o, u] sound.
Eg: It is a ball.
