Aspirants should have completed Class 8th/10th/10+2 from recognized board or university. This Prescribe Education Qualification will be varied post to post. For Soldier General Duty posts, the age limit should be between 17.5 years to 21 years. And for all other posts the age limit should be between 17.5 years to 23 years.

The selection process will have the following rounds:
- Physical Fitness Test
- Physical Measurement (At Rally Site)
- Medical Test
- Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
- Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 02 May 2021 to 15 May 2021. Gates will be opened at 0500 hours and will be closed by 09.00 hours on each day.
- While attending Rally candidates should follow the COVID19 Precaution instructions given by the Government. Candidates should Maintain social distancing as per government orders, Wear mask at all the time and before putting on mask, clean with soap and water, Maintain good respiratory hygiene etc.
- Eligible candidates can apply on the official site of Indian Army. Candidates who have already registered himself in recruiting year 2020-21 need to register again as the previous notification has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Fill all the details in the ARO Recruitment Application Form 2021. Take a print out of your application after completing the registration process.
