APSC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have completed Second class M.A. in Modern Indian History and have a one-year diploma in Archival Science from the National Archives of India, New Delhi.
- At least 6 years experience in the rank of Archivist or in a similar post of higher capacity in this line in any Archival Institution.
APSC Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:
The candidates should not be less than 45 years of age and not more than 55 years of age as of 01/01/2022. The upper age limit is relaxable:
- By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 45 years.
- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 43 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
- For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of the candidate as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur 7 January 2019.
APSC Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
- The selection procedure will be notified later on followed by issuing a corrigendum/addendum if required.
- The Commission will decide the provision for selection in respect of any post/posts or service/ services considering the status, cadre, and grade or the number of applications received for the advertised post/posts or service/ services.
APSC Recruitment 2023 Salary:
Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).
