APPSC 2020 Recruitment through Exams only. Now Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced APPSC Recruitment will be conducted through exams only. Next year January 2020 all recruitments will have only examination process. Personality Test/Oral Test will be no longer in the process of recruitment conducted by APPSC.
Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced “From January 1, 2020, interviews for recruitment of all the government jobs will be scrapped. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and merit score.”
The new method of recruitment will be implemented in the New year. This is perhaps the first time that the public service commission recruitment will go without candidates being interviewed and recruited based on the written test.
Earlier, the chief minister had announced that the state government would take up large scale recruitment every January to fill vacancies in every department. The APPSC will conduct examination to various posts next January to fill vacancies. The government will issue notification of the vacant posts following which the APPSC would conduct the qualifying examination.
A Ravi Chandra, PDSU state president, said the interview system should be continued for at least Group-1 examination to assess the qualities of the candidates. The government should have consulted with the academic experts over the issue before taking the decision. He said there are many flaws in APPSC because of which many court cases have been filed. The government should go for complete overhaul of APPSC without which implementation of job calendar will not be possible.
