APPSC Group 1 Notification 2018
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is coonducting Group 1 Exam for the posts of Deputy Collectors, Commercial Tax Officer, Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendents, District Fire Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Jails, DSP (Civil), Assistant Treasury Officer (ATO) / Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO), Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO). Official Notification for Group 1 Exam will be released soon.
Pay Scale:
- Deputy Collectors / Commercial Tax Officer / Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) / Deputy Superintendent of Jails – Rs. 20,680 – 46,960/-.
- Divisional Fire Officer – Rs. 19,050-45,850/-.
- Regional Transport Officer – Rs. 18,030-43,630/-
- For All Other Posts – Rs. 16,150 – 42,590/-.
Age Limit:
- For District Fire Officer Posts: 21-26 years.
- For All Other Posts: 18 -34 Years.
Age Relaxation :
- SC/ST and BC Candidates – 5 Years.
- Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates – 10 Years.
- Ex-servicemen – 3 Years.
- For National Cadet Corps (NCC) (who have worked as the Instructors in NCC) Candidates – 3 Yeas.r
- A.P. State Government Employees (Employees of Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board (APSEB), Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), Corporations, Municipalities, etc. are not eligible) – 5 Years.
- For Retrenched temporary employees of the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months – 3 Years.
Educational Qualification:
- Deputy Collector / Commercial Tax Officer or the Deputy Superintendent of Police Category-2 / Deputy Superintendent of Jails – A Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.
- Divisional Fire Officer – B.E. (Fire), Competitors with a degree in any discipline will be considered if B.E. (Fire) candidates are not available.
- District Employment Officer/ Regional Transport Officer/ Municipal Commissioner Grade-2 – A Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification
- Assistant Treasury Officer /Assistant Accounts Officer – A Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification. Preference shall be provided to persons possessing a degree in “Sociology” or the “Social Work.”
- Mandal Parishad Development Officer – A Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.
