Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has issued an appointment orders for 5 persons in recognition of 9831 Second Guards, 1200 Fire Guards, 119 Prisons and Department guards through Tamil Nadu Uniformed Personnel Selection Board. The Govt of Tamil Nadu has various schemes and to enhance the work of Police. The Police have to function for Crime Prevention Sector. There are 1, 13,000 police officers and governors working in Tamil Nadu, which has a population of 7.5 crores.

The CM implementing various schemes to maintain law and order then to enhance the Police Sector. Various vacancies to be filled in Police, Fire and Rescue Departments, Prisons and Corrections Departments to better maintain law and order in the State.

831 Second Class Guards, 1200 Fire Guards and 119 Prisons and Corrections Department Guards are qualified in that 9831 secondary guards, 6140 have been qualified for the Special Forces and 3691 for the Armed Forces. The qualified people include 2948 female guards and 3 transgender. 19 prisons and 12 female prisons were additionally selected. Huge vacancies are to be filled. Vacancies in the Police Force are filled the intelligence and efficiency of the department will be further enhanced.

Law Minister Iragupathy, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise, SK. Prabhakar, Director General of Police Silenthra Babu, Director of Prisons and Corrections Sunil Kumar Singh, Director of Fire and Rescue Services Braj Kishore Ravi, Additional Director of Police Shankar and senior government officials were participated in this programme.
