In recent times Layoffs have become part of the company. Many companies like Microsoft, Apple, Netflix, and even the media industry have announced its layoff. Bangalore-based leading startup “Healthify me” has recently laid off 150 employees.
It is about 15-20% of its employees. The company gives AI-based health and fitness tips and provides healthy meals plan by expert nutritionists. Laid-off employees belong to Non-operative roles such as SME, quality analytics, products, and marketing. The company plans to give 2 months’ salary as severance pay to his laid-off employees.
The company plans to give an Upgradation to its services. They are planning to provide metabolic health tips by launching “Healthify me 2.0”. So they are planning to adopt new resources. The layoff decision is made after the appointment of Dr. Shebani Sethi who is a Founder of Metabolic-Psychiatry.
