APSET 2022 Age Limit:

There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for test. So, any candidates with the any age criterion and possess the following educational qualification can apply for this examination.

APSET 2022 Educational Qualification:

• Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC are eligible to apply for this examination.
• Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.
• The Ph.D.degree holders whose Master’s level examination has been completed by 19th September 1991 are eligible with the relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in SET.

APSET 2022 Exam Details:

The APSET will contain the written test that consists of two papers for300 marks, duration of 3 hours on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) method. Paper-I have the weightage of 100 marks and Paper –II has the marks of 200 marks. There will be no negative marking scheme.

Paper 1:

The paper – I is common for all candidates who appearing APSET. The language of the question will be bilingual. That is English and Telugu. Paper-I will consist of 50 objective type questions and each question will carry 2 marks.

Paper 2:

Paper – II will take place for the subjects of Commerce, Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Public Administration and Sociology. This examination is also has questions in bilingual (English and Telugu). All the remaining papers are in English only except Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu and Urdu. The Paper-II will have 100 objective type questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each one question will carry 2 marks.

APSET 2022 Fee Details:

The candidates who possess the eligibility and willing to apply for this exam should pay the application fee of Rs.1,200/- in case the application belongs to the General and EWS category. The candidates belongs to the BC category should pay the fee of Rs.1000/-. For the candidates of SC/ST/PED/Transgender, they should pay the application fee of Rs.700/-.
