Amazon’s Plan will Be a Rival for Elon Musk’s Starlink Project:The space exploration and space business is booming in recent years. Many companies are planning to do investment in space-related projects. As of now, Elon Musk’s SpaceX and Starlink projects are the top human commercial projects linked with space. This company plans to enlarge its business by sending satellites to space to implement this service.
Amazon one of the top E-commerce giant has planned to send an internet satellite to space by 2024. The company planned to send the prototype satellite by the mid of this year. This is the same as that of Elon Musk’s Starlink projects. With this plan, amazon will become a rival company to Starlink.
Amazon named this satellite internet project as “Project Kuiper”. The company planned to launch many satellites to provide internet facility to all over the world in the upcoming years. The company planned to launch over 3000 satellites in their first process and that will be placed in the lower earth orbit. The senior vice president of Amazon devices Mr. Dave Limp said that they will start beta testing with customers by 2024.
