The leading e-commerce holder Amazon has the Nobel goals like digitizing small businesses, creating more employment opportunities, and increasing exports from India. This information is revealed by Manish Tiwary, Country Manager- India Consumer Business, Amazon India.

As per the Tiwary report, “We want to digitize 10 million small businesses across the country by 2025. We are roughly at 4.1 million right now. Digitization does not mean sellers should only sell on Amazon. They should be present on other marketplaces as well, as the flywheel keeps on moving as more businesses get digitized”.

Amazon has focusing on the mission to reach 20 billion dollars of cumulative exports by 2025, Tiwary said, adding that growth across these areas will benefit small businesses and MSMEs. NASSCOM reported that Amazon will be valued at close to 350 billion dollars by 2030 and all this growth will be driven by omnichannel.
