The board has allotted 119 vacancies for the posts Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor details are given below.
- Professor – 29 posts
- Additional Professor – 18 posts
- Associate Professor – 45 posts
- Assistant Professor – 27 posts
AIIMS Group A Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
- A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
- A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

Qualification for Non-Medical Candidates:
- Master’s degree in the concerned specialty as under: –
- Anatomy – M.Sc. (Human Anatomy)
- Physiology – M.Sc. (Medical Physiology / Physiology)
- Biochemistry – M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry / Biochemistry)
- Pharmacology – M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology / Pharmacology)
- A doctorate degree from a recognized university in the concerned discipline/ subject.
AIIMS Faculty Age Limit 2021:
The candidates should have age limit for the post of Professor/Additional Assistant Professor is Maximum 58 years and Associate Professor /Assistant Professor – Maximum is 50 years. Refer the official notification for more details about the recruitment.
AIIMS Faculty Salary Details:
Professor– the salary for the post is Level 14 A (168900 – 220400) as per 7thCPC with minimum pay Rs.1, 68,900/- per month and other allowances as admissible.
- Additional Professor– the salary for the post Level 13 A2 (148200 – 211400) as per 7thCPC with minimum pay Rs.1, 48,200/-per month and other allowances as admissible
- Associate Professor– the salary for the post Level 13A1 (138300 – 209200) as per 7thCPC with minimum pay Rs.1, 38,300/- per month and other allowances as admissible
- Assistant Professor– the salary for the post Level 12 is (101500 – 167400) as per 7thCPC with minimum pay Rs.1, 01,500/- per month and other allowances as admissible.
AIIMS Group A Selection Process:
Duly constituted Standing Selection Committee will conduct the selection process for all the posts. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Refer the official notification for more details about the recruitment.
AIIMS Group A Application Fee:
The Candidates from UR/EWS/OBC category have to pay ₹3000 as an application fee. Candidates from SC/ST category have to pay ₹2500 as a application fee. Candidates from PwBD are exempted from submitting the application fee.
